Description: This charming antique Christmas postcard features a unique, gnome-like Santa Claus in a red robe and fabric covered pointed hat, holding a toy doll and a horn. He stands beside a window, with a decorated Christmas tree and a basket of gifts visible. The scene is framed by a festive pine branch adorned with golden stars and red apples. The front of the card wishes "Merry Christmas." The back of the postcard is a standard "Post Card" with spaces for correspondence and address. It was mailed from "DENVER & CHICAGO R.P.O. TR. 2" on "DEC 22 530PM" (year unclear, possibly 1909 as indicated by partial date stamp) to "Miss Sibyl Smith, Offerle, Kansas." The card bears a one-cent U.S. postage stamp featuring the profile of George Washington. "Made in Austria." is printed vertically along the left edge. This is a delightful and unique piece of holiday ephemera, perfect for collectors of vintage Christmas cards, gnome or folklore-inspired Santa imagery, or those interested in early 20th-century mailed postcards.

Condition: As this is an antique vintage postcard, it will show corner bumps and expected age wear.
