Description: This captivating antique postcard depicts a vibrant "Night Scene Along the Boardwalk" in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The black and white illustration, with subtle hand-coloring (possibly, or just the effect of the print), shows a bustling boardwalk filled with people, and features elaborate architectural structures lit by gaslight or early electric lights under a full moon. The copyright date of 1906 is clearly visible, making this a truly historical piece. The reverse side contains a handwritten message and a 1-cent stamp, postmarked from Hazleton, PA in August 1906.
