Description:

This is a whimsical and humorous vintage linen postcard, perfect for collectors of novelty or travel-themed postcards. The front illustrates a bright red vintage car pulling a red travel trailer. From the windows of the car and trailer, several women are peeking out. What makes this card particularly amusing is the clothesline strung between poles extending from the trailer, on which numerous white women's undergarments are drying. Two men on the side of the road are shown looking at the scene with shocked or surprised expressions. The caption at the top of the card cleverly reads, "Just a line. Will write later."

The back of the postcard is standard for a linen postcard, featuring a divided design for messages and addresses. "POST CARD" is printed in blue, and there is a "PLACE STAMP HERE" box. The publisher information, "Published by Asheville Post Card Co., Asheville, N. C.," runs along the left border, and "MADE IN U.S.A." is printed vertically. The bottom sections indicate "C-207," "THIS SPACE FOR WRITING," and "THIS SIDE IS FOR THE ADDRESS." The card is unused and well-preserved, showing minimal wear consistent with its age.
