Description: This is an original vintage sales flyer for the Midway "Sea Wolf II" arcade game, released in 1978. Size is 8.5" x 11" single page double sided. The front of the flyer boldly introduces "New from Midway SEA WOLF II A ONE OR TWO PLAYER GAME IN RADIANT FULL COLOR." It features a striking illustration of the game cabinet submerged in an underwater scene with submarines. The text highlights "Midway introduces the ultimate video game...." The back of the flyer provides extensive details about the game's features and specifications. It outlines "TARGETS AND SCORING VALUES" for different types of ships (FREIGHTERS "100 points", WARSHIPS "200 points", PT BOAT "500 points", and SUPER SUB "1000 points" for hitting the hidden submarine). It details "BONUS SCORING" for four consecutive hits and "EXTENDED PAYROLL" for scoring at various thresholds. "REALISTIC SOUNDS" include the whoosh of torpedoes, sonar, and shattering explosions. "SEAWOLF II" is described as a single player game, while "SEAWOLF II A" is a two-player game, both involving yellow torpedoes and scoring based on color of torpedoes. "REALISTIC PLAY" is achieved through authentic periscopes, observed targets, and flashing explosions. "NEW IN SEAWOLF II" features include a Z 80 Central Processor Unit (CPU) for five times the sensitivity of the 8080 system, a 25 inch solid state color monitor, improved/larger power supply, and logic encoder for periscope/torpedo control. Self-testing features like ROM and RAM checks, periscope alignment, and color convergence are also mentioned. The cabinet size is listed: Height 67" (170cm), Width 24" (61cm), Depth 30" (76cm), and Weight 368 lbs. (167 kilo). This is a fantastic piece of arcade history for collectors.
