Description: This is a charming vintage postcard featuring a scene titled "An angry sea, Asbury Park, N.J." The front depicts a sailboat on a choppy sea under a partly cloudy sky, with subtle hand-coloring. The back is an unused "POST CARD" with the publisher's information: "Nº B 11311 Published by The American News Company, New York, Leipzig, Berlin, Dresden." It also features the "LITHO-CHROME" trademark from Germany, indicating a high-quality printing process of the era. The postage rates are clearly printed: "Postage: United States and Island Possession, Cuba, Canada and Mexico One Cent, For all other Countries Two Cents." A handwritten address to "Miss Florence Mome, Cattle Park, Ga." is present. This postcard is a wonderful piece of Asbury Park, New Jersey, and early 20th-century postcard history.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Minor corner and edge wear consistent with age. Some light surface discoloration and faint creasing. The colors on the front remain vibrant for its age. The back is clean with legible text and an unobtrusive handwritten address.
